Useful information

Milazzo in 2 hours

A level walk between the port and the edge of the old town, for anyone with a departure close by.

  1. Start on Via dei Mille and follow the port.
  2. Reach Marina Garibaldi and look at the front of the town.
  3. If you still have margin, enter the old town without climbing to the citadel.
  4. Walk back to the piers with time to spare. The boat time is not on this site.

Visit times are a guide only.

Milazzo in half a day

The old town and the citadel, or the cape if the sea matters more than history. The planner chooses according to what you prefer.

  1. Climb into the old town and, if legs and time hold, to the citadel.
  2. Stay on one side: castle or cape, not both.
  3. Lunch is not booked by this itinerary. Look at the selection, if there is one.

Visit times are a guide only.

Milazzo in a day

Morning on the promontory, afternoon on the cape. It is a full day, not a list of ten stops.

  1. Morning: old town and citadel, without rushing.
  2. Afternoon: the cape, the Pool of Venus only if the sea is calm, or Baia del Tono.
  3. If the light holds, a point to the west for sunset, with the return already decided.

Visit times are a guide only.
