City buses in Milazzo
City buses are run by SAIS Autolinee, with the Comune di Milazzo. Here are the live map, the ticket and the official posters. Times open on the current SAIS document, because they change.
Marenostrum is at Via dei Mille 20. On the posters the stop is called Via dei Mille, ex Mulini Presti, and it is marked on lines 2-3, 4, 5 and 6. The exact pole is on the live map. Check the route on Google Maps before you leave.
The map that shows the routes
This is the official SAIS map. It shows the lines, your position, ticket sellers and buses in real time. The Plan button on the SAIS site currently opens a Google search for Milazzo: the route calculator is announced as coming soon.
Which line to take
The colours are those of the official map. The season for line 6 is printed on the poster. The full stop list is in the official PDF, not in an invented timetable.
Lines 2-3 · Port – Santa Marina
From the port southwards: Via dei Mille, then the Ponente shore, Santa Marina, Garrisi and Olivarella.
Line 4 · Port – Station – Hospital
Links the port and Via dei Mille with the station, the hospital and the Fiumarella and Botteghelle districts.
Line 5 · Port – Station
The short link between the port, Via dei Mille and the railway station.
Line 6 · Port – Cape – Tono
From 11 September to 9 June
Outside the summer season it runs towards Capo Milazzo and Tono beach, via Via dei Mille.
Line 6 · Port – Cape – Cirucco
From 10 June to 10 September
In summer, one of the two variants of line 6: from the port to the cape, as far as Cirucco.
Line 6 · Port – Tono
From 10 June to 10 September
The other summer variant: from the port towards Tono beach, without the Cirucco loop.
