There is no island that is right for everyone
Vulcano is the volcanic landscape nearby. Lipari is the best equipped. Salina is green and quieter. Panarea is the evening. Stromboli is the active volcano. Filicudi and Alicudi are the slow pace, with sparse services. The selector in the guide uses time, desire, company and the choice between a day trip and a night.
